Ouch
Gone are the days when a twisted ankle just brought a curse, a wince and that was it. Thought I could shake it off after walking through the pain Friday afternoon, but when I woke on Saturday to find a baseball sized knot hanging off my ankle, Jude insisted, and I agreed to go to the emergency room.
Will let the orthopedist tell us if there's a fracture, or torn ligaments sometime this week.
*sigh*
The good news is that there appears to be no fractures, but the bad news is I tore the ligaments up pretty bad. The concensus of both the orthopedist and Jude is that I shouldn't have walked the half-mile back to Dawson Hall on Friday, as that just increased the trauma.
What an idjit!
I'm now using an AirCast boot, which helps a lot, but those darn ankle cables still hurt like hell.
